A Look Inside The Autoimmune Paleo Cookbook!

Well, I finally received the advance copies of my book  yesterday!

Words can’t quite describe the relief, excitement, and happiness I feel about being so close to completion on this project. In the days leading up to this I had a couple nightmares about things like a glaring typo on the cover, one of the photos being on the wrong page, or something else wrong with the book. Of course those were all silly fears… the first time I looked through the book I breathed a huge sigh of relief, as it is absolutely perfect and as I intended! I made this video yesterday to give you guys a pretty in-depth tour of what you will find inside. I walk you through the introductory material, food lists, tips and tricks, meal plans, and of course some of the recipes. I hope that this video preview is able to show you how much I put in to creating a functional, and beautiful resource for anyone embarking on the Autoimmune Protocol. Now that I have approved the advance copies, I only have to wait a few more weeks for the rest of the books to be shipped to me. I will then have in my hands a lot of books… that is until I send them out to everyone who so graciously supported my Indiegogo campaign last October, as well as Amazon.com to fulfill all of the pre-orders (which I appreciate so, so much!). The book has been ranked really well on Amazon, occasionally sliding into the #1 spot for the Whole Foods category, which is kind of mind-blowing for a self-published, yet unreleased cookbook! I wanted to thank all of you readers again, for your endless support and encouragement. I am constantly blown away by this community, and I hope that we are able to show more people that they can affect the health of their bodies with whole, real, nutritious foods.

    Hi! Your book looks amazing!! The layout is clear and uncluttered, easy on the eyes and attractive which is crucial in a book(IMO)
    … and I love all the photos! Also, your hands look amazingly healthy! So it encourages me to get on with the program! thanks again!

    I just found your website this week, and I’ve preordered your book on Amazon. I cannot wait to get it! I don’t have an autoimmune disease, but I have candida and a host of food sensitivities to go along. This book will be so much more helpful to me than normal paleo cookbooks due to my not being able to eat eggs, dairy, nuts, etc. I am also really looking forward to the batch cooking tips and menu plans.     This looks like a great book!! I struggle with autoimmune issues even though I’ve been “Paleo/Primal” for almost 3 years. I’m thinking dairy and some vegetables might have to go from my diet. I’m interested to read your book!

    I want to try your recipes, but I notice that you said you use a lot of coconut milk in your recipes, which really doesn’t agree with me. Is there a way to make those without the milk?

      Hi Ania,
      I don’t have a good sub for coconut milk in the recipes, but only a couple of them use it. For the dressings, you can use avocado instead of the coconut cream. You won’t be able to make some of the desserts. I do have a lot of recipes for free, on this site that don’t use coconut. Hope it helps!

    I’ve got a quick question- I’m getting ready to prep some garlic sage chicken patties. In the recipe it calls for 1 tablespoon and 1/4 cup of coconut flour. Which amount is used for dredging and which amount is used to add into the chicken? The recipe doesn’t say which one to use. Thanks!
